The short version
- We collect only what we need: purchase details from Stripe, what you type into our testimonial form, and emails you send us.
- Most of what you enter in a Notepad app stays in your browser on your device.
- We don't sell your information, and our site has no ad trackers or analytics cookies.
- We only publish a testimonial if you said we could. Your email is never published.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
1. Who we are
ValenciaSolution ("we", "us") is a registered business name in Ontario, Canada. We make the Notepad coaching apps and run valenciasolution.net. We handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Our privacy contact is:

2. What we collect

3. Data inside the Notepad apps
Most of what you enter in a Notepad app, including rosters, player photos, plays, notes and recorded video, is stored in your browser on your own device. We don't receive it.
Some features, such as live game scoring or team chat shared between coaches, send the data you enter for that feature to our hosting providers so it can sync across devices. Only enter player information you have permission to use. For minors, that includes permission from a parent or guardian.
4. How we use it
- To deliver your purchase or free Notepad, give support and answer your questions.
- To review testimonials and, only if you agree, publish them.
- To send product updates and offers you've agreed to receive (see below).
- To keep the site and apps secure, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell or rent your personal information.
5. Emails and unsubscribing
We send marketing emails, such as new Notepads, updates and offers, only when we have your consent as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). That can be consent you give us directly, or implied consent from a recent purchase or inquiry.
Every marketing email identifies ValenciaSolution, includes our mailing address, and has an unsubscribe option. You can also email us with "Unsubscribe" at any time. We process unsubscribe requests right away, and always within 10 business days. Receipts and support replies aren't marketing and aren't affected.
6. Testimonials
We publish your name, team or role, club, rating and testimonial only if you tick the permission box. We never publish your email. If you received free access, we label your testimonial "Free access", as Canadian advertising law requires. To have your testimonial changed or removed, email us and we'll take it down promptly.
7. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe: checkout, payments, tax and receipts (as merchant of record).
- Vercel: website and app hosting.
- Upstash: database storage for free-offer sign-ups, testimonials and synced app features.
- Google (Gmail): our email.
Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
8. Cookies and tracking
valenciasolution.net doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
9. How long we keep it
We keep purchase records as long as Canadian tax and accounting law requires. We keep testimonials until you ask us to remove them, or until we stop using them. We keep other messages only as long as we need them to help you. After that we delete the information or make it anonymous.
10. Security
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Our site uses HTTPS, and access to stored testimonials is protected by a private key. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we'll notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.
11. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw consent (for example, to marketing emails or a published testimonial). Email valenciasolution.net@gmail.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
12. Children
Our site and apps are meant for coaches and clubs, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Player information that coaches enter in an app is covered in section 3.
